ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
Existing Standard ASCE 38 and use in coordination with TAC UCM DBB and TAC UCM P3
The session will provide a in depth look at the published ASCE 38 and its impact on Utility coordination.
This standard, the ASCE 38 is the foundation of utility coordination and will guide the future of utility
coordination standards of how to collect and depict existing infrastructure. How to document the validated utility information. Where utility information is used as a baseline deriving from accuracy to a point that can set a risk mitigated, future utility coordination projects from facts and not assumptions.
The workshop will focus on 3 distinct streams and have interactive collaboration breakout sessions on the 3 topics.
- Urban Light Rail (LRT Elevated Guideways Heavy urban interaction)
- Long Range intercity Heavy Rail Passenger Transit
- Inner city Tunnels and Subways. Stations and Tunnel in the City
Objectives
- Education of the ASCE 38.
- Understanding of application of ASCE 38.
- Understanding how ASCE 38 will impact utility coordination
- Integrated approach of use of the TAC DBB and P3 while relying on validated information from the ASCE 38.
